Living up to his name, Colorado rapper, Prince Lit, has dropped a volcanic, new single. Titled “Ya Ya”, this track proves ideal for the nightlife; furthering a bounce and groove that would thrive on the dance-floor. The kick on this modern-trap, party anthem, is backed by a speaker-rocking 808. The buzzing saw synth, and colorful key-based melody, are pierced with a rhythmic trap clap; of which, Prince Lit’s flow has zero problems riding. He raps at a catchy, exciting tempo. When matched with the pace of the beat, the results are a dynamic record. “Ya Ya” is a fiery debut from Prince Lit. One that, on your next house party playlist, you should definitely make room for.

 The state of Texas has always maintained a pivotal seat on the altar of Hip Hop. He goes by the name Jgar, and is proudly representing San Marco, Texas (the Tr36ix) through his latest, self-titled EP. “JGAR” comes at you with five, solid tracks of new-age, Southern Hip-Hop. It forgoes the heaviness and darkness of those aforementioned, Texan artists, in exchange for lightness and relaxation. Jgar is not overbearing on this project. His lyricism, delivery, features and beat selection all combine to create this chilled-out, smoldering environment. One thats perfect for your Saturday night, basement rotation. Tut Moses is back at it with some new-age trap, and his latest hit single - Justified- is the epitome of such Hip Hop. Tut jumps out on the Bias produced beat with an intense, staccato cadence that is impressive to both naysayers and fans. His high-register delivery over Bias' canvas, reminds me of the minimalist production style we’ve seen with Drake’s resident engineer. The artist has shown some rapid progress with his soul-grabbing ability to infuse the traditional lyrical flair on the vibrant track. It is very easy to resonate with this artist as he touches on everyday stuff that we can all relate to, while yet remaining sharp on the mic. Keno Meechie is in the building as he preps for a night to remember in his "Hotel Party" visual. The Birmingham, Alabama native bounces all over the thrilling production of KidKeva, who utilizes synth keys and throbbing bass tones to properly set up the party vibe. His sound has been compared to that of a young Playboi Carti and "Hotel Party" follows a similar tone to Carti's "Magnolia" tune. No need to trip because Keno has the room booked and ready for the snow bunnies to arrive. Before the party can officially begin though, Meechie has to hit up the local corner store for treats and beverages.


The young rapper pregames in the room by getting super turnt up, as he hops upon the bathroom sink and delivers a truly hyper performance piece. The video incorporates light animations giving it a psychedelic feeling to it. This is a new school, southern fried fiasco at it's finest. Lonzy Los Lucid blends his Mississippi and Texas roots together when he creates music. His latest presentation comes to us in the form of an audio single titled "Hypnotized".  Lucid has released a total of three mixtape projects thus far, "The Dream", "Project 88" and "The Waiting Room". Now the twenty-one year old rapper is poised to release his official debut album, "THR33", sometime this year. Currently based in the San Antonio locale in Texas, Lonzy's latest single follows up his last release, the summer fueled "Dance With Me" tune.
