Multigenre artist brings R&B, hip-hop, pop and dance together for a bold new chapter

LONG ISLAND, NEW YORK— AUGUST 28th, 2026— Independent singer, songwriter and multigenre artist Wadena, also known as Denagirl, is officially stepping BACK OUTSIDE with her highly anticipated EP, Wadena vs. Wadena: Back Outside.

Blending R&B, hip-hop, pop and dance, the project showcases different sides of Wadena’s artistry while celebrating confidence, transformation, independence and creative freedom.

The EP’s release follows an unexpected pause in Wadena’s campaign after a family emergency required her to step away from music and social media.

“I had to step away, but I didn’t stop creating,” says Wadena. “I was hungry for this moment, and I knew I had to finish what I started. Now I’m back outside.”

BUILDING ON REAL MOMENTUM

Wadena isn’t returning to music empty-handed. Her independent catalog has already generated significant momentum.

“Smoke-n-Chill,” produced by Zaytoven, has spent more than 50 weeks on the Upcoming 100 music charts and has generated more than 150,000 streams. Meanwhile, “Glad I’m Over You (Hood Love)” has now reached 52 weeks on the Upcoming 100 music charts.

The new EP features another version of “Glad I’m Over You (Hood Love)” featuring Mr. Hood, giving listeners a fresh take on a song that has continued to connect with audiences.

A SPECIAL BIRTHDAY RELEASE

The EP also carries deep personal meaning for Wadena because she and her mother share the same birthday.

“We’re celebrating our birthday together while still grieving the loss of my dad,” Wadena says. “It’s emotional, but it also reminds me to celebrate life, family and the opportunity to keep moving forward.”

For Wadena, Back Outside represents resilience—turning a difficult chapter into motivation to continue creating.

CREATIVITY, INNOVATION AND UNITY

As the music industry continues discussing emerging technology and creativity, Wadena believes new tools can help artists explore new possibilities while keeping the artist’s vision at the center.

That philosophy comes as legendary producer Dr. Dre has recently spoken publicly about experimenting with AI and emerging technology as creative tools.

“Music continues to evolve,” says Wadena. “Artists should be able to explore new tools that enhance creativity while keeping their own voice and vision at the heart of the work.”

Wadena is also calling for greater support among artists and creators.

“There’s room for everybody,” she says. “Established artists and independent artists can build their own lanes without tearing each other down. I want to see more collaboration, creativity, positive energy and peace.”

JOIN #PLAYWADENASMUSIC

Wadena is inviting fans, friends, DJs, creators and music lovers to join the #PlayWadenasMusic campaign.

Fans can support the new era by streaming the EP, saving songs, adding tracks to playlists, sharing videos, creating content and introducing Wadena’s music to new listeners.

“I’m not looking for people to listen once and disappear,” Wadena says. “I want to build a real community of people who connect with the music and stay for the journey.”

Following the EP, Wadena plans to release individual singles and visual content from the project. She will also continue the campaign with the standalone “Bum Busta Remix” featuring Zaytoven.

When Ashlee Ray published her first book, Manifest 22, she gave readers a 22-day framework for turning desire into reality. It was a roadmap built from her own experience — a woman who had climbed from foster care in Little Rock, Arkansas to the top of the media industry, then watched everything she built come apart, and found her way back through intention, ritual, and a faith in the alignment of things most people cannot see.

That book changed lives. It also left something unsaid.

The Manifest 22 Transit Guidebook, releasing June 5 and available now for pre-order exclusively at mamiwataorganics.com, is the something unsaid.

This Is Not a Follow-Up. It’s a Reckoning.

The first book taught the system. This one lives inside it. The Transit Guidebook was written during one of the most disruptive astrological cycles of Ashlee’s life — the years Uranus moved through Taurus, dismantling the material foundations of her world. Ashlee did not write about this transit from the safety of the other side. She wrote it while her home dissolved, while her partnership ended, while her body broke down and rebuilt itself, while she carried roles she never trained for, while she fought to hold her family together.

She finished the book on April 25, 2026. The last day Uranus was in Taurus. The last day of the transit.

“I didn’t plan the date,” she says. “The sky did.”

What the Book Actually Does

The Manifest 22 Transit Guidebook does something most astrology books are afraid to do: it shows the whole chart. Not just the abundance placements, the lucky Jupiter transits, the favorable windows for manifestation. The whole thing. Including what the chart says about loss, about trauma, about the things that happened before you had language for them.

One of the teachings that has resonated most deeply with readers is Ashlee’s demonstration of how to find some of life’s heaviest experiences written into a natal chart. Widowhood. The loss of a child. Survival of sexual abuse. These are not things most astrology books teach. Ashlee teaches them because she believes the chart is only useful if it tells the truth — all of it — and because she teaches her own alongside everyone else’s. She shows you where her own survival is written in her chart. Not as spectacle, but as evidence that the map was always there, and that understanding it changes how you carry what happened.

“I’m not just showing people their ugly,” she says. “I’m showing mine too.”

A central thread of the book is safety — how the theme of safety, and its absence, has shaped Ashlee’s entire life, and how that theme shows up in her chart for anyone who knows how to read it. She uses her own placements to teach readers how to work with their energy instead of against it: how a second house Pisces Moon, for example, can dissolve into other people so completely that it loses itself, and how she learned detachment as a practice — how to love deeply without merging, how to stay porous without disappearing.

There is an entire chapter on Uranus in Taurus — the transit that ran from 2018 to 2026 and disrupted the material foundations of an entire generation. Home. Body. Money. Identity. Stability. For Ashlee, it arrived as a complete collapse: the loss of her city, her partnership, her career, her physical health, and eventually her sense of who she was supposed to be. There is a passage about not feeling at home in her own body, her own emotions, her own life — the specific disorientation of Uranus moving through the house of self-worth and physical form and not recognizing the woman in the mirror. Millions of people lived some version of this transit. The chapter gives it a name, a map, and a way through. It is the longest chapter in the book, and the one she fought hardest to get right.

There is a chapter on Human Design that most authors would not have had the courage to write. Ashlee is a 5/1 Manifesting Generator — the 5th line being what Human Design calls the Heretic, the one who is constantly projected onto. The good projections and the bad ones. The savior narrative and the villain one. The chapter is deeply personal and deeply instructive at the same time: it traces the specific pain of being seen as whatever people need you to be rather than who you actually are, and it teaches the 5/1’s core lesson — that neither the good projections nor the bad ones are real, and that none of them are yours to carry. For anyone who has ever felt like the version of them living in other people’s minds has nothing to do with who they actually are, this chapter lands like a release.

The book covers every major planetary transit — Saturn returns, Uranus disruptions, Neptune dissolutions, Pluto rebirths, Chiron wounds, the Nodes — and maps them onto the houses of real life: career, relationships, home, body, identity, spirituality, loss. It includes a full Transit Library with every planet and asteroid through every house. It teaches Western and Vedic astrology side by side. And it does all of this in plain language, with enough of Ashlee’s own life woven through it that you never have to wonder what any of it looks like in practice.

Memoir, Guide, and Workbook — All at Once

What makes the book singular is that it refuses to separate the teaching from the life. It is simultaneously three things: a memoir, a transit guide, and a workbook. All three are necessary. The memoir gives the teaching its weight. The guide gives the reader a framework they can actually use. The workbook gives them somewhere to put it.

Most astrology content tells you what might happen. This book teaches you how to respond — built on the understanding that awareness changes outcome, that you are not at the mercy of your transits but in relationship with them.

The Ecosystem It Connects To

The Transit Guidebook is the centerpiece of a larger system Ashlee has built at Mami Wata Organics. The ebook edition includes QR codes that link directly to Mami Wata’s Mirror — the free chart tool Ashlee built herself, and the place where the book stops being something you read and becomes something you use.

Most people trying to understand themselves through their chart end up assembling the picture piece by piece: one site for the natal chart, a second for the Human Design bodygraph, a third for astrocartography, a paid app for transits, a forum thread to decode what any of it actually means. Mami Wata’s Mirror collapses all of that into a single tool in a single place — a one-stop shop for Western astrology and Human Design, built for the person who wants the whole picture instead of six browser tabs.

Enter a birth date, time, and place, and the Mirror generates six kinds of readings: a **Western natal chart**, a **current transits** report showing exactly what the sky is doing to your chart right now, a **compatibility reading** for two charts side by side, a full **Human Design bodygraph** with type, profile, authority, and defined centers, an **astrocartography map** showing where on Earth your planetary lines fall, and **secondary progressions** for tracking how the chart evolves as you do. Every chart can be cast in whole sign or Placidus houses, so readers who were taught one system are not forced into the other.

What makes it teach rather than just calculate is that every placement is clickable. Tap a planet, a sign, a house, a gate, a channel — a definition opens on the spot, written in plain language rather than textbook jargon. The built-in Transit Library covers every planet and asteroid through every house, which means the same reference material the guidebook uses is sitting right there when a reader hits something they do not recognize. Nobody has to leave the page to find out what their Chiron in the 4th means. A **Print / Save as PDF** button turns any reading into a document to keep or bring to a session, and the built-in **Reading Journal** holds fifteen saved entries with your own notes attached — so a transit you tracked in March is still there in September when the same planet comes back around. That is the part most astrology apps miss entirely: the point is not the single reading, it is the pattern across readings.

The natal chart, the transits, the compatibility reading, the bodygraph, the Transit Library and the journal are free. No account fee, no trial timer.

**Full Access — $10 a month — opens the rest of the Mirror.** That includes the complete **Pantone Birth Chart Palette**: twelve of your core placements translated into twelve Pantone colors instead of the single color the free tier shows. It is the chart rendered as a color story rather than a wheel of symbols — something you can actually use for a brand, a wardrobe, an altar, a room, a ritual. Full Access also unlocks a **seated Oracle pull drawn from your own chart**, **numerology read directly from your birth data** rather than in a separate tool, **secondary progressions**, and the **full astrocartography breakdown** — every line, every city, explained rather than just plotted.

The piece members use most is the one that comes to them. Full Access includes **personalized transit alerts by email** — not a generic horoscope, but a notification when a major transit is hitting your chart specifically, timed to your own placements and your own time zone. It is the difference between reading about Saturn and knowing the week Saturn arrives at your door.

Readers who are not ready to subscribe still get taught. The free **Healthy Wealthy Witch** newsletter sends three emails a week: a **Sunday Reset** on the incoming energy of the week, a **Monday ritual** email, and the **Friday Venus Day** email — what is active in the sky and what to do about it, every week, at no cost.

“Everything I know, I learned by looking things up one at a time and putting it together myself,” Ashlee says. “I built the Mirror so nobody else has to do it the hard way.”

The hardcover edition — a beautiful collector’s piece for the readers who really get it — includes workbook pages designed to be written in and returned to across multiple transit cycles: eclipse trackers, Saturn fasting logs, manifestation maps, an electional astrology worksheet for choosing the right timing for launches and decisions, and daily and weekly energy flow logs.

Supporting it all is the Mami Wata Organics ritual product line: ritual candles, ritual bars crafted to align with specific intentions and transit energies, and a monthly ritual box subscription delivering seasonal products designed to support exactly the kind of inner work the book teaches.

“Everything I have built,” Ashlee says, “is a tool for the same thing. For the woman who can feel the sky talking and just needs someone to help her understand what it’s saying.”

Discover how talented artists from around the world bring Brady Kent's lyrics to life.

 Rory David and Stellar Luna

Brush, Colorado, USA

"Every set of Brady's lyrics gives me the chance to see a story from a completely different perspective.”

Hi, I’m Rory. I write and compose songs in Brush, Colorado, USA, with my singing partner Stellar.

I've had a passion for music since I was a small child, playing bass in a band called Coolslide at 14. Then I played lead guitar in a band called Neon Knights. After coming home from the military, I started writing and playing seriously in a variety of styles.

My songs are based on real life, using my time in the navy for inspiration.

Big thanks go to my Mum (Betty Rusch-Ruff) and my dear wife (Dea), who have encouraged me along the way.

I first met up with Brady about two years ago. Using his lyrics, I have now recorded over 20 songs.

Re interpretating Brady’s lyrics is very rewarding. Often looking at a subject from a different point of view. I have a house full of instruments and I like to experiment and be creative.

Brady’s songs allow me to do this.

My favourite Brady song is ‘Take a new guy out on date’. At 7.3 mins long, it gave an opportunity to ‘go for it’. Play it in your car, driving down the freeway! Today!

I’m currently composing a song called ‘Blame Blues’, using

Brady Kent lyrics

Anny Bravo

Nigeria | USA | United Kingdom

"Music is more than melody—it's how I tell stories that people remember.”

I’m Anny Bravo from Nigeria, although I spend a lot of time in the USA and the UK. I am a singer and songwriter with a passion for turning meaningful lyrics into songs, that leave a lasting impression. For me, music is more than melody, it’s my way of telling stories, expressing genuine emotion, and creating moments that people can relate to.

My journey with Brady Kent began in December 2025 after he came across one of my on-line gigs and shared a set of lyrics with me. From our very first project to the 10th, I connected with the sincerity of his writing. His lyrics felt honest and purposeful, making it easy to step into each song and give it the emotion it deserved.

Collaborating with Brady has been one of the most fulfilling creative partnerships I’ve ever had. Every song brings a different story, a fresh perspective, and an opportunity to create something meaningful together. The way he works, matches my professionalism in the best possible way.

Among the songs we've created is, "A building in his name’. It holds a special place in my heart. The story resonates with me on a personal level, and recording it was both an honour and an unforgettable experience. It reminded me why I love what I do.

At the heart of every project, my goal remains the same: to create music that speaks to people honestly, carries real emotion, and stays with them long after the final note fades.

Penny Batt

Texas, USA

"I build music around emotion first. The lyrics tell me where they want to go.”

I’m Penny Batt from Texas, USA. I grew up in a family where music was simply part of everyday life. My grandmother and grandfather were both great singers. I fell in love with the feeling that a great song can create.

Today I am a singer, songwriter and vocal arranger. One of the things I enjoy most is adapting to whatever a song needs. I love stepping into the genre and style while staying true to the emotion of the story.

Working with Brady Kent on 14 songs, has been one of the highlights of my musical journey. What started as a single collaboration quickly became an ongoing creative partnership built on trust, honesty and a shared passion for storytelling. Every song has its own personality and every project challenges me to approach the music from a fresh perspective.

I always start with emotion, then melodies and arrangements, then the story. I build music around the feeling, not just the words. I let the lyrics tell me where they want to go.

‘The burning stars are still glowing’, ‘Winter Blues Man’, ‘Guess I’m a tortured soul’, and ‘I Don’t see my children’, are the Brady Kent songs I’ve enjoyed producing the most.

Brady is simply a pleasure to work with. He is open to ideas; encourages creativity and has real trust in the people he works with.

Music is about telling honest stories, connecting with people and creating songs that stay with listeners long after the music fades.

Ezzy Israel

United Kingdom

"Brady gives you direction—but also the freedom to leave your own signature on every song.”

My name is Israel, professionally known by my stage name Ezzy. I am a passionate singer, songwriter, and music producer with over 13 years of experience in the music industry. I currently work in the UK. I have recorded 17 songs for Brady Kent.

Music has been a part of my life from an early age. My journey began under the guidance of my grandmother, who introduced me to the beauty of music and helped shape the skills and passion that continue to define my career today. Those early lessons laid the foundation for my growth as both an artist and a producer.

As a versatile vocalist, I enjoy performing across a wide range of genres, including R&B, Soul, Pop, Rock, Gospel, Country, Afrobeat, Hip-Hop, EDM, Blues, House, and many more.

Whether I'm writing heartfelt lyrics, recording lead vocals, creating harmonies, or producing full tracks, I am committed to delivering authentic, high-quality music that connects with listeners.

At 30 years old, I remain dedicated to continuous growth, creativity, and excellence in every project I take on. Beyond music, I am a Christian and a God-fearing man, and my faith serves as the foundation for my values, work ethic, and the way I approach both life and my career.

For me, music is more than a profession, it's a calling. My goal is to create timeless songs that inspire, uplift, and leave a lasting impact on audiences around the world.

Working with Brady has been very rewarding. Whilst he provides general direction he also allows to me to stamp my mark on the song and interpret his lyrics. There is always something fresh and new. I’m flattered to be one of his top tier Guest Musicians.

My two favourite Brady Kent songs are ‘Do I need to figure it all out’ and more recently ‘Goes to work in a bikini’. The latter is a soul, hip hop song about Reggae music.

I’m currently working on a song called Is anybody at my age still happy?

Hip hop has grown into one of the world's most influential cultural forces, shaping far more than music. In Unbecoming: The Miseducation of a Poet, author Taquarius Ford explores how hip hop, media, education, religion, and culture influence identity, beliefs, and the way we see ourselves.

Rather than criticizing hip hop, Taquarius Ford examines its cultural impact and invites readers to ask an important question: How much of who we are was intentionally chosen, and how much was shaped by the world around us?

Through personal reflection, cultural commentary, and poetic storytelling, Taquarius Ford encourages readers to think critically about the messages they consume and the voices that have helped shape their lives.

"Culture is one of our greatest teachers," says Taquarius Ford. "The question isn't whether we're being influenced. The question is whether we're aware of what's influencing us."

As conversations continue across the hip hop community about authenticity, mental health, entrepreneurship, relationships, and cultural responsibility, Unbecoming offers a timely perspective on the power of culture to shape individuals and communities.

When the momentum shifted and the spotlight moved somewhere else, the question wasn’t whether people believed anymore.

It was whether he still believed.

And that’s where the separation happened.

As Black History Month closes and Women’s History Month begins, a comeback story rooted in resilience, loss, and legacy is unfolding.

The industry might want to pay attention.

R&B singer Wadena has officially stepped back into the spotlight with her new single “Bum Busta,” produced by Grammy-winning Atlanta heavyweight Zaytoven — and the early numbers are turning heads.

Released on Valentine’s Day, the record made immediate impact:

  • 10,000+ YouTube streams within the first 24 hours
  • Nearly 25,000 YouTube views in under 72 hours
  • 13,000+ streams on Spotify
  • 10,000+ streams on SoundCloud
  • Continued traction across major digital platforms

For an independent artist who previously struggled to surpass 1,000 streams, the surge marks a significant shift.

“This is organic. No label machine. Just resilience,” Wadena says.

A Decade of Industry Tension

Wadena says she spent over ten years navigating industry disputes tied to past songwriter credit conflicts involving Grammy-winning superstar Alicia Keys.

“For years, every time I tried to relaunch, something would collapse,” she says. “But talent doesn’t expire.”

She says the shift in today’s independent music climate has finally allowed her to reconnect directly with supporters.

Personal Battles Behind the Comeback

While navigating professional setbacks, Wadena was also fighting deeply personal battles.

The singer recently recovered from a brain injury while supporting her father, who was hospitalized in a brain ICU on Long Island, New York, after suffering severe injuries in an incident at a Hilton-branded hotel that was reported in the news and described as involving racial discrimination. He later passed away on Mother’s Day, May 11, 2025, following a prolonged health decline.

“That season almost broke me,” she says. “But it built me.”

Enter “Bum Busta”

Produced by Zaytoven — widely recognized as one of Atlanta’s most influential hitmakers — “Bum Busta” delivers bold energy, sharp lyricism, and unapologetic comeback confidence.

With over 1,000 songs written, Wadena says her return during the transition from Black History Month into Women’s History Month feels symbolic.

“As a Black woman in this industry, resilience is part of the story,” she says. “This moment means something bigger.”

“They tried to bury me,” she adds. “But I grew.”

The question now isn’t whether she’s returning. It’s whether the culture is ready.

“Bum Busta” is now streaming on all major platforms.

Marking his return to the charts, reggae icon Maxi Priest has collaborated with dancehall superstar, Sean Paul, on the single release of “Feel So Alive,” the final track in “The Signal” riddim series by renowned music curator and producer Lion Face. Priest, a legendary reggae vocalist, whose career spans four decades, has partnered with Intercept Music to officially launch and distribute his own label, Level Vibes Music. “Feel So Alive” is the label’s debut.

San Francisco, CA – Maxi Priest, one of the most celebrated reggae fusion artists of all time, is making a massive move to re-ignite world music. The legendary reggae vocalist, whose career spans four decades with three Grammy nominations, has partnered with Intercept Music to officially re-launch and distribute his own label, Level Vibes Music. Marking his return to the charts, Priest has collaborated with dancehall superstar, Sean Paul, on the single release of “Feel So Alive,” the final track in “The Signal” riddim series by renowned music curator and producer Lion Face for Lion King Muzik.

In reggae and dancehall music, a riddim is the instrumental backing track that multiple artists use to create their own distinct songs. “Feel So Alive” is Sean Paul’s and Maxi Priest’s contribution to the five-song project which also has songs by JC Lodge, Luciano, Morgan Heritage, and Quan Dajai. “Feel So Alive” is a love-fueled Caribbean collaboration that ‘signals’ a roots and reggae revival for the ages.

Maxi’s musical lineage runs deep across multiple cultures. His breakthrough came in 1984 with the first UK reggae tune to reach #1 in Jamaica. His self-titled 1988 album, recorded with legends Sly & Robbie, Willie Lindo, and others, introduced him to intercontinental audiences with hits like the classic cover of Cat Stevens’ “Wild World.” His duet with Beres Hammond, “How Can We Ease the Pain,” showcased his ability to garner mainstream accessibility. The album, “Bonafide” went Gold in the U.S. and delivered the smash single “Close to You,” #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #2 on the R&B chart.

The momentum continued with chart-topping collaborations including “Set the Night to Music” with Roberta Flack and “Housecall” with Shabba Ranks. Maxi had mastered the art of balancing reggae authenticity with pop appeal. His 1996 release, “Man with the Fun,” featuring Shaggy on the Grammy-nominated crossover hit “That Girl,” proved his staying power. “CombiNation” (1999), an eclectic blend of reggae, hip-hop, R&B, and jazz, featured artists like Beenie Man, Degree, and Red Rat, and reinterpretations of classics by Donny Hathaway and Stevie Wonder.

In 2022, he returned to the stage with UB40, The Original Wailers, and Big Mountain for a six-week U.S. tour. Now marking 40 years in the music industry with his label relaunch, Maxi has been honored with inductions into the Jamaica Music Museum Hall of Fame and the Reggae Walk of Fame.

“I feel so alive!” exclaims reggae music sensation Maxi Priest. “My label, Level Vibes Music, finally has the support that it needs through my partnership with Intercept Music. Intercept Music was created specifically for busy independent artists like me. With Intercept, we now have access to all the tools my team needs for the business of marketing and promoting, leaving me with the time and energy to do what I love – make music.”

“Working with Lion Face is always amazing,” adds Priest. “He and I go way back, and our history is very, very melodic.  Having my brother Sean Paul on this track with me, my official debut label release, is something beyond beautiful. Sean does what Sean does, he is just so brilliant! We connect across generations, growing the culture, the music and the vibration. Yes, I feel so alive!”

Sean Paul, who has been proclaimed Jamaica’s top export, is likely one of the biggest global stars the island has produced. The iconic dancehall deejay has dominated international charts since he burst onto the scene in the late ‘90s. Three decades later and he shows no signs of slowing down. His introduction to the world stage was the 1997 instant smash “Infiltrate.” By the time he released his debut project, “Stage One” in 2000 with dancehall hits alongside singer Mr. Vegas, he was the highest-selling artist on VP Records. When Sean and Vegas landed a cameo in Hype Williams’ 1998 film “Belly,” and a musical collaboration with rap star DMX, his undeniable appeal in hip-hop was sealed.

Paul’s sophomore album “Dutty Rock” broke the mold for dancehall ultimately spawning four Top 15 Billboard hits. In the very same period, his voice powered hits for Beyoncé, Blu Cantrell and Busta Rhymes, proving that his Midas touch with a hook could not be contained by one genre. Sean’s third #1 on the Billboard Hot 100, “Temperature,” took the music star worldwide, reaching the Top 10 in Canada and France and Top 20 in Australia and the UK. Blazing through the decades, the 2020’s have shown Sean to be the world’s foremost representative of Brand Jamaica, with him officially recognized by the Jamaican government with an Order of Distinction, decades of awards, chart-topping hits and a worldwide fanbase that is unmatched. To date, he is the most streamed reggae artist of all time with 15 billion streams, surpassing reggae legend Bob Marley!

“Lion Face is like family to me and the music. He was one of the first selectors to ever believe in me. And, you know, to be able to do a song with Maxi Priest, who was in the business before me, somebody who I look up to, it makes a very strong connection to the song itself. For me, it’s a dope feeling to know I can look up to these icons, both Lion Face and Maxi Priest, and now be doing songs with them,” adds global superstar Sean Paul.

“The musical bond between Sean Paul and Maxi Priest is mind blowing,” cites Founder and Chairman, Ralph Tashjian, for Intercept Music, a worldwide, leading, technology-driven independent music distribution and marketing company. “Intercept Music has been continuously expanding our musical frontier, so this song release is a huge accomplishment for us. Priest and Paul together – what more can I say, except be on the lookout for much more to come!”

Los Angeles, CA — The buzz across the music industry is undeniable. Hip-hop legends Sen Dog (Cypress Hill) and Kemo The Blaxican (ex- Delinquent Habits) have joined forces as Negros De La Raza, and their forthcoming single “Para Mi Gente” (out October 17, 2025) is already being hailed as a defining moment for Latin hip-hop—a powerful anthem of identity, unity, and resilience.

A thunderous fusion of Latin rhythm, street wisdom, and generational pride, “Para Mi Gente” speaks directly to the people it represents—those who have carried the weight, built the foundation, and kept the culture alive. The record’s anthemic energy, produced by Fiyastarta, captures both the grit of the streets and the soul of a movement.

Early tastemakers and insiders are calling it “a new chapter in Latin hip-hop” and “the kind of track that crosses boundaries and generations.”

The Meaning Behind the Name

The name Negros De La Raza translates to “Blacks of the Race”—a statement of cultural truth and solidarity that reclaims identity while honoring shared roots. It reflects the Afro-Latino and Indigenous bloodlines woven through Latin America and the diaspora, uniting communities often divided by language, geography, or color.

For Sen Dog, whose heritage traces back to Afro-Latino Cuban roots, and Kemo The Blaxican, whose background bridges both Black and Mexican identity, the name isn’t just symbolic—it’s lived experience. Together, their collaboration embodies the global unity the song stands for: a reminder that rhythm, struggle, and pride transcend borders.

“We both come from places where identity is layered and powerful,” says Kemo. “This project is about embracing that—being proud of every piece of who we are and where we come from.”

A Legacy That Runs Deep

Few names carry the legacy of Latino hip-hop like Sen Dog and Kemo The Blaxican. Sen Dog, as a founding member of Cypress Hill, helped break barriers for Latino artists worldwide—his voice becoming synonymous with West Coast rap and cultural authenticity. Kemo, the unmistakable voice of Delinquent Habits, helped pioneer bilingual hip-hop with storytelling and rhyme skills that bridged barrios and borders.

Together, under the banner Negros De La Raza, they represent not just collaboration but cultural convergence—the merging of history, rhythm, and purpose into a sound built to unify.

Produced With Purpose

Behind the boards, Fiyastarta delivers production that feels both cinematic and streetwise—layering Latin percussion, hip-hop drums, and soulful undertones into a sound built for stadiums and global playlists alike.

The track’s scratches by Peoplemover bring classic authenticity, while the music video, directed by Jorge Newman, gives visual life to the anthem. From the humble backdrops to the faces in the crowd and the flags in the air, the video embodies what the title means: for the people.

A Movement Takes Shape

With anticipation mounting among DJs, tastemakers, and streaming curators, “Para Mi Gente” is poised to resonate across continents—from Los Angeles to Latin America, Europe and beyond. Its timing couldn’t be more perfect: in an era calling for unity and representation, Negros De La Raza stand at the intersection of legacy and liberation.

“This isn’t just a song,” says Kemo. “It’s a declaration. It’s pride, struggle, rhythm, and hope—all rolled into one.”

“We made this for the people who never stopped believing,” Kemo continues. “For the ones who put in work, hold their heads high, and move forward no matter what.”

At its core, “Catch Up” is a reflection of life’s balance—the heat and the cold. It’s about facing heated situations with strength, surviving the coldness of others, and still standing tall in the middle of it all. That clash of fire and ice is the energy behind the record—bing bow—the sound of impact, the collision of extremes that create power.

More than a track, it is a statement: no matter the climate, no matter the challenge, BambiTheGawdess will always stay ahead.

About:

BambiTheGawdess emerges from the heart of Baltimore, carrying the grit, resilience, and raw truth of her city in every verse. Her music is born from survival—transforming pain into power and scars into strength. Her inspiration comes from life itself—the battles she’s fought, the crowns she’s earned, and the women she uplifts through her story. She draws power from her past but refuses to be defined by it, instead turning hardship into fuel for her art.

As an artist, she is inspired by legendary voices who blended truth with power—icons like Tupac, Aaliyah, Lauryn Hill, Cardi B, GloRilla and Beyoncé—figures who spoke unapologetically, embraced authenticity, and shifted culture. Just like them, she is building a movement where music is more than sound—it’s freedom, healing, and revolution.

For BambiTheGawdess, every performance is a reminder that true royalty isn’t given—it’s earned. She embodies divine feminine energy, using her voice to inspire others to rise, reclaim their crowns, and recognize that even from the fire, greatness can be born.

Inspiring Hip-Hop Track Tackles Mental Health, Self-Worth, and Resilience with Universal Message of Hope

Los Angeles, CA – AUGUST 2025 – #DontBeAfraid

Emerging hip-hop duo Caddy Pack & Pavy have released "Don't Be Afraid," a powerful anthem that transforms personal struggle into collective empowerment. Produced by doom.got.beats, the track delivers an urgent message of self-belief and resilience that resonates with today's social justice movements. Executive produced by Katrell The Phenomenal. Pairamilitary Music Group.

The Song That Speaks to Our Times

In an era where mental health awareness, anti-bullying initiatives, and human dignity are at the forefront of social discourse, “Don’t Be Afraid” emerges as more than just music – it’s a movement.
The track’s core message challenges listeners to recognize their inherent worth while confronting the systems and voices that seek to diminish them.

Key lyrics that define the movement:

  • “Look into the mirror, recognize that it’s you / Trust in what I be saying because it’s true”
  • “You’re stronger than the shadows, yeah, you won’t lose this battle”
  • “Don’t you look at them and think that you don’t do enough”

Social Impact & Recognition Potential

“Don’t Be Afraid” addresses multiple pillars of social change:

Mental Health Advocacy:
The song directly confronts fear, self-doubt, and emotional resilience, offering hope to those struggling with mental health challenges.

Anti-Bullying Message:
With lines like “can’t nobody mess with you” and “Haters gon’ hate,” the track empowers victims of bullying and social intimidation.

Human Dignity:
The emphasis on self-worth and personal empowerment aligns with movements fighting systemic oppression and inequality.

Community Support:
The lyrics acknowledge shared struggles while building solidarity among listeners facing adversity.

Award Consideration:

The track is being submitted for consideration as Best Song for Social Change, following in the footsteps of socially conscious music that creates positive global impact.

Like Harry Belafonte’s legacy of combining artistry with activism, “Don’t Be Afraid” uses music as a vehicle for social transformation.

The song meets key selection criteria by promoting understanding, empathy, and positive action while affirming the basic humanity of all people. Its accessible hip-hop production paired with universal themes makes it particularly relevant for younger audiences navigating today’s complex social landscape.

About the Artists:

Caddy Pack (@caddypack) brings authentic storytelling and motivational energy to the track, delivering verses that balance personal reflection with universal truth.

Pavy (@pavyworld) adds depth with lyrics that acknowledge life’s challenges while maintaining unwavering optimism and faith-based strength.

doom.got.beats (@doomgotbeats) provides the sonic foundation that makes the message both compelling and memorable.

Threaded all together collectively and cohesively with @kpthephenomenal and @pairamilitarymusic

Quote from the Artists:

“We created ‘Don’t Be Afraid’ because we’ve all been in that dark place where fear controls our decisions. Music has the power to reach people when they need it most, and if this song helps even one person recognize their strength, we’ve succeeded. This isn’t just entertainment – it’s empowerment.”

Why This Story Matters Now:

As society grapples with rising mental health challenges, increased social division, and the need for authentic voices of hope, “Don’t Be Afraid” offers a timely solution.

The track proves that social change music doesn’t require controversy or conflict – sometimes the most radical act is simply reminding people of their inherent worth and power.

Media Opportunities:

The artists are available for interviews discussing:

  • The intersection of hip-hop and social activism
  • Mental health awareness in music
