It is utterly insane how electric Jetcity Records can make a twenty-two track project sound. With their long-awaited debut, “Welcome To Jet City”, this high-flying Hip-Hop collective takes compilation albums to new, modern-trap heights.

Almost every track on “Welcome To Jet City” is a profound posse cut. Loco 2k, Nucky JMC, Rup Monsta, Skyler, Big Ox, Aye Michelle, and Ag Souljah are the prominent pyromaniacs of the album; blazing through hooks and verses with lyricism and inflections that keep the energy at an all time high. What is likewise captivating about “Welcome To Jet City” is that it is not a constant stream of original content. Rocking the ride, every now and then, is the turbulence of mainstream remixes. “Thotiana” by Blueface; “Lil Bebe” by Danileigh; “Middle Child” by J Cole; “Going Bad” by Meek Mill and Drake; each one of these records are terrifically remixed by the talents on this album, steering it into clouds of spontaneous exhilaration. Certainly, “Welcome To Jet City” may intimidate you with the length of its tracklist. However, once play is pressed, and the debut opus truly takes off, you will not regret a single song. With such an invigorating list of bangers, this soaring collective simply cannot be shot down.

Luclover is a 14-year-old rapper and musician based in Houston, TX, his family is originally from Morocco. Music wasn’t Luclover’s first passion, basketball was. He first picked up a ball at the age of 4, and his parents helped him to develop his skills and excel to an advanced level by taking him to practice, personal training and playing with him in the backyard. In January of 2019, Luclover found that his drive to play basketball was gone and that he wanted to take a different path and create music. His parents fully supported this switch and helped him set up a home studio, where Luclover still records. His first single "999" has almost 70,000 views on Soundcloud. Just when you’d thought every nugget of gold and every rock of diamond had been robbed from the gorgeous continent of Africa, a gem juts from the earth. It glows with the colorful hues of Afro-beat, and glistens with melodies that those native to the motherland will irresistibly feel in their souls. That jewel is Thandiwe Love’s “Good Life”; and through its lustrous prism of sounds, you’ll come to know that the wealth in Africa is far from low. For, there are still mountains of riches in their arts and culture. Thandiwe shows this with twenty-four tracks of enchanting dance music. Albeit, a handful of these records sport modern-trap sensibilities; most of them pump with the Worldly, four-to-the-floor rhythm that the motherland is known for.  Justin Bacik, better known as Hefe Heetroc (stylized as HEFE HƏƏTROC) and formerly known as Wez Nilez, is an American rapper from New Mexico. His musical style has been described as a fusion of hip-hop, glitch-hop, and vaporwave, amongst other styles.
He grew up in Rochester, NY, moving to California and then Albuquerque, New Mexico. His musical pursuits began by studying guitar at age 19, and at age 27, he shifted his focus towards hip-hop. He has collaborated with fellow emcee Loose Logic, his music has been featured on numerous blogs such as Thisis50, and his single ‘Space Energy’ has been aired on WRIU FM by Dj Padrino.

DMV artist, Joe Dunia, better known as jWorld, delivers his latest single “Relax” that features Guap Tarantino from his recently-released debut album, Prophecy.

With his first, official single, “BALLIN”, Space Jay utterly illuminates the modern-trap sky. An earth-moving synth progression jump starts King Pablo’s “Zombieland”, foreshadowing an unimaginable banger to come. This is precisely what we have been waiting for. Since Summer Walker’s fiery onset in 2018, ignited by her chart-topping “Girls Need Love” record; the lot of us have waited with bated breaths for someone to offer a rendition. Their own take on the smoldering smash. Now, we may finally have it; lifted from the lungs of the young, North Carolina crooner, Abryon. With an awe-striking command over melody and harmony, this Southern singer aims to remind us that “Girls Need Love Too”. A sultry music video, and autotune-driven remix, are his main means of doing so. As he passes between various scenes with two particular women, the Tarheel vocalist unhinges a bit more of his amorous soul. He confides in them his desire to be anything and everything they could ask for; ultimately giving us everything we could ask for in a Summer Walker remix: pleas full of passion that’ll feel everlasting.
