Keno Meechie is in the building as he preps for a night to remember in his "Hotel Party" visual. The Birmingham, Alabama native bounces all over the thrilling production of KidKeva, who utilizes synth keys and throbbing bass tones to properly set up the party vibe. His sound has been compared to that of a young Playboi Carti and "Hotel Party" follows a similar tone to Carti's "Magnolia" tune. No need to trip because Keno has the room booked and ready for the snow bunnies to arrive. Before the party can officially begin though, Meechie has to hit up the local corner store for treats and beverages.

The young rapper pregames in the room by getting super turnt up, as he hops upon the bathroom sink and delivers a truly hyper performance piece. The video incorporates light animations giving it a psychedelic feeling to it. This is a new school, southern fried fiasco at it's finest. Keno Meechie has the perfect stage presence and his feet tapping tracks are just the right thing to jam along to. Check out "Hotel Party" via YouTube. -Barry Quigley

His name may be California Purp but he reps Burlington, North Carolina. Despite being from a small town, Purp has a big sound with a lot of range. "Winning" is a testament to his ability to make hits and craft bangers with a strong hook and a clear good ear beats. It is noticeable that Purp has been working on his pen game for awhile with a full lyrical display of slick wordplay and polysyllabic rhyme schemes. Formally known as Crime Luciano, Purps persona is mafioso and the detail in his rhymes are too clever and specific to be fabricated. "You still with them nicks (Knicks) like Pat Ewing at the Garden/Zips of the yay for 13, James Harden" Purp raps in his second verse. If you're into quality bars and something to get you feelin' yourself, California Purp "Winning" is the record for you. Check out the single below and look for more coming soon from the North Carolina emcee.

I Wonder starts with a motivational phone call from what sounds like one of DollaSign Dee's OG's. The sentiment in the callers voice is genuine, reassuring that Dee has his head on straight and is headed on the right path. This phone call serves as an interlude for "Different" a clear standout on this project. Dee then opens the intro with hard hitting bars "I grew up around crips and bloods, but i ain't never been no banger though" it is clear from the jump that Dee is different. Coming out of Killeen, Texas Dee's upbringing is on full display, he uses his voice to reflect on his experiences with full transparency and emotion which is backed by quality melodies and rap cadences. As you peel back the layers of I Wonder Dee's versatility is clearly his most impressive quality, by the time track 3 "Im The Man" comes around, Dee takes a full 180 transition of energy and proves that he has that southern bounce and range that could get him play in the club. I Wonder has a little something for everybody on here, check it out for yourself below and look out for more coming soon from DollaSign Dee.
